A PTO version of the popular S426 multi-purpose shredder. Aimed at tractors in the 80 to 115hp range, fitted with 1000rpm PTO, it is a valuable, cost effective option for operators with a requirement for a shredder to run from a tractor.
Like its road-tow and tracked counterparts, the PTO S426 will handle a variety of materials, including greenwaste (brash, prunings, hedge trimmings, Leylandii, rootballs and Christmas trees), pallets, doors, chipboard, ply, cardboard and uPVC plastics, with a throughput of up to 3 tonnes per hour. Unlike a chipper, it will tolerate nails, screws, small metallic items (locks, hinges), stones and lumps of concrete up to fist size.
Most local authorities and contractors will be able to utilise this shredder with their existing tractors, extending their use and versatility - keeping costs to a minimum and equipment utilised to the maximum.
